*FEE SCHEDULE (Standard): 

 

Uncontested Divorce: $2000.00 Flat Fee*

​

Contested Divorce/Complex Family Issues (Most Cases): (Complex division of property, Complex Family Issue, Complex Custody Issues, Adoption, Juvenile Cases, Contempt Petition/Rule to Show Cause issues ect.) : $2,700.00 retainer due upfront and $255.00 per hour of attorney time spent/billed.*

Publication Divorce: $2,700 retainer due upfront, and $255.00 per hour of attorney time spent/billed.*

​

Default Divorce: Ranging from $2300.00 - $2,500.00 flat fee upfront. *

​

DCFS Admin Appeals : $2,500.00 retainer due upfront and $250.00 per hour of attorney time spent/billed*

​

Guardianship of Minor: $2700.00 retainer due upfront and $255.00 per hour of attorney time spent/billed*

*Other Family/Divorce/Custody Matters:  Retainers start at $2,000.00 and subsequent hourly fee/monthly flat fee is based on the nature of your matter.

WE UNDERSTAND THAT LEGAL FEES RELATED TO LITIGATION & OVERALL FULL REPRESENTATION ON FAMILY AND DIVORCE MATTERS CAN BECOME COSTLY QUICKLY,  ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO HOURLY BILLABLE LEGAL FEES. THEREFORE, IN OUR MISSION TO SERVE AS A SOURCE FOR THOSE ON A FIXED INCOME WE OFFER THE OPPORTUNITY FOR CLIENTS TO BYPASS THE UNCERTAINTY ASSOCIATED WITH THE STANDARD BILLABLE HOURLY STRUCTURE, AND INSTEAD SUBMIT THEMSELVES TO A CLASSIC UPFRONT FIXED RETAINER, WITH AN ACCOMPANYING FIXED MONTHLY LEGAL FEE AMOUNT THAT WILL NOT FLUCTUATE. 

 

TYPICAL FIXED MONTHLY ARRANGEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:

 

RETAINER:

$2000.00 - $2700.00 (COVERS THE FIRST 30 DAYS)

FIXED MONTHLY LEGAL FEE: (POST THE FIRST 30 DAYS)

$500.00 - $750.00 per month.

*Limited Scope Options: 

 

This is a lower cost option for those who are needing legal assistance in a limited capacity or as to a short-term or limited/smaller issue in an ongoing case or new case initiation. This is also referred to an an unbundled service offering.

No retainer is required for unbundled/Limited Scope services! 

 

All of our limited scope offering are done on a flat rate basis. The flat rate fee is calculated and determined based on the specific type and extent of assistance requested by the client.
